Bosch 4 inch 120 Grit Aluminum Oxide Flap Disc For General Applications ( Pack of 5 )

*A flap disc is a type of abrasive tool used for grinding and finishing various surfaces, such as metal, wood, and plastic. It consists of a flat, circular disc made of multiple overlapping flaps of abrasive material, such as sandpaper or emery cloth. These flaps are angled in such a way that they provide a consistent grinding surface, even as the disc wears down over time *Flap discs come in a range of sizes and abrasive grits, allowing them to be used for a variety of tasks, from heavy grinding to light finishing. They can be used on a variety of tools, including angle grinders, die grinders, and even drills with special attachments *Some common applications for flap discs include removing welds, smoothing rough edges, and preparing surfaces for painting or coating. They are also commonly used in metalworking and woodworking industries * Flap discs are available in many different grits, or levels of coarseness. The higher the grit number, the finer the grinding action and the smoother the finished surface will be. The most common flap discs have grits ranging from 40 all the way up to 320 or 400.
